Introducing Blue-Bot, the Bluetooth floor robot Welcome to the future of programming in the classroom! Blue-Bot is our brand new addition to the floor robot family. This innovative Bluetooth robot can be controlled using a tablet or PC/Mac whereby you create your program on screen, send it remotely and see Blue-Bot performs your program right before your very eyes! With a clear shell, children can see inside Blue-Bot and understand which components perform which duties, for example, where is the power stored? Using the app, Blue Bot can now perform 45 degree turns alongside the traditional 90 degree turns which means children can program Blue-Bot to draw a variety of different shapes. The app has an explore mode which allows children to explore the wonders of programming whilst the challenges mode presents puzzles for the children to complete. You can still use Blue Bot like your normal Bee-Bot, by programming on the robot itself. You can use your existing Bee-Bot mats with Blue-Bot and have an image of the mats on screen so you can replicate your program in real life. We have made classroom management as easy as possible by allowing you to rename each and every Blue-Bot to give it its own character. Apple uses non-standard Bluetooth set up in iPad 1 & 2. Please note: This is not compatible with iPad2. 2. Which versions of iPad can i use? - Apple uses non-standard Bluetooth set up in iPad 1 & 2. Therefore this is only compatible from iPad 3 onwards. Please note: Currently the Blue-Bot app not working on iOS 9. Please Update tablet if possible. 3. How accurate is Bee-Bot? Your Bee-Bot has been designed to be as accurate as possible in its movements. However, due to the natural tolerances of mass-production, we can make no claims beyond those given below. In most cases you will find that Bee-Bot, on a good clean surface free from bumps, will perform even better. Forward/backward movement 150mm �8mm, left/right turn - 90 degrees �4%. 4. Is the Blue-Bot app GDPR compliant? - No personal data is gathered by the app. With Android, location permissions are required to allow access to Bluetooth. No location data is gathered. 5. Is the Blue-Bot app UK only? - The app should be available in all countries.
